Mobile Engineer - Mobile Device Management

Job Summary The Enterprise Mobility Engineer will be part of a global team defining, developing and maintaining Avantor mobile device standards for phones, tablets on iOS and Android mobile platforms. They will be responsible for endpoint management and ensuring compliance across the Avantor end user environment whilst driving IT satisfaction through strong collaboration and forward thinking. MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (List in order of importance) Provide engineering and testing support for all current and future mobile infrastructure solutions. Develop mobility strategic vision for the organization, through research and evaluation of new technologies. Enpoint Management with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (previously known as Intune) for Mobile devices as well as expanding the scope to cover Workstation devices in the near future. Collaboration with Avantor global Teams, security department and business-related areas to keep abreast of the latest mobility requirements and policies. Partner with divisional IT and the business to understand current mobility requirements and implement solutions that meet their needs. Work with various wireless carriers, device OEMs, software vendors to understand their strategies in providing enterprise mobility solutions. Assist with developing and communicating new mobility services offerings and device standards. Representing Enterprise Mobility Solutions on various IT projects and business initiatives. Management of mobile App Store (Google/Apple), Mobile App package creation and deployment. Supports mobile app dev teams with usage of MDM and MAM as part of their solutions. T3 support for Field Services. Development technical documentations. Input into Capex and Opex budget planning. QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications) High school diploma required; Associates or Technical school degree preferred. Working knowledge of currently available mobile device management and mobile application management solutions. Minimum 2 years of experience with Mobility Device Management (MDM) solutions. Minimum 2 years of Working knowledge / hands-on experience the design, implementation, and support, troubleshooting on mobile OS platforms - iOS, Android. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently) Great knowledge on Android OS and Google Enterprise management. Working knowledge Microsoft Technologies, iOS, Android, Mobile Device Management (MDM). Able to work effectively, both independently and within an international team that is regionally based (Americas, EMEA, APAC). Able to think outside the box in developing and supporting mobile solutions for the enterprise. Able to present on and/or speak to various mobility topics. Process improvements through implementation of new technology and innovative solutions. Proven track record of multi-tasking and delivering excellent customer support with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Solid understanding of Active Directory technologies. A good understanding of AD Group policies would be beneficial, but is not required. Working out of hours as required. Ability to travel up to 15% of time. ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT (Under Typical Positions) Typically works in an office environment (or Home Office if applicable) with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level. Work assignments are diversified. Examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems. New alternatives may be developed to resolve problems. May travel domestically and internationally up to 15% of time. Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that frequently weigh up to 25 lbs, and occasionally up to 60 lbs. Work assignments are diversified. Examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems. New alternatives may be developed to resolve problems.

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Systems Architecture & Engineering, Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
